yeah, I know, not needed. However, it worked last year when I bought the car and it is nice to show up to customer's sites not all sweaty. Now it's not. I got one of those recharge kits form wallyworld and the pressure gauge said it was charged (and I know its 134a, not R12, but if it all leaked out I was just going to charge it up). The car idles up when the A/C button is pressed, but the compressor will not kick on. Fuses are OK.
I've searched miata.net and sifting through the forum posts is not helping much. Does anyone have any idea how I can diagnose why the compressor won't work? Can I jump a connector somewhere to see if it works? Thanks!
