Is there a likely place for a slow oil leak on the front of the 95 miata motor?

Valve cover gasket? My 94 was weeping just a little bit from the driver's front corner when I first got it. It was running down the block and showing up on the front side.
Valve cover is certainly the quickest and cheapest spot to start, mine leaked on the back where they all seem to. Then formed a small leak on the side about a year later. Also I had small oil leak at the front around the crank seal that was sorted when my timing belt was done.
