Someone mentioned that any dress from Sequins to shorts was acceptable.
So sequins it was.
The cardboard guy is a Navy member that got transferred. We decided he should be there anyway.
It was by far the least boring banquet I have ever been to. I'm not sure some of the older crowd appreciated it though.

I've run into some real shiny happy people in the club who just want to stamp the fun out of everything.

I don't think they felt we were taking the august occasion seriously enough. Their loss.

The loafers got more positive comments than the jacket did. My feet didn't appreciate them very much though. Amazon has you covered if you can't live without a pair.
I wore a T-shirt and Cintas pants to ours. Guess I was underdressed.
