bring anything, run it. This is from our event today. Brand new GT4, and an old rat rod!
That rat rod looks amazing. How'd it run? We had a GT3 in attendance, as well as a 67? Austin Cooper S. The mini was slower than anything, but the driver hadn't done autocross since the 60s and we had a really tricky, really wet course.
A couple years ago, I was waiting for a friend out by the Rose Garden (side of the White House where they land the helicopter) when Jeff pulled that thing up, parked it, and got himself a photo of it with the WH in the background.
Secret Service Uniformed was a little touchy about letting him do it at first. But he had an escort from one of the cruisers from his duty post (Park Police HQ) and that got him over the hump.

Been done. (Del Long)

I thought the Cessna was on topic. It is pretty distracting, though. Sorry.
Our club is more of a "run what you brung" deal, which I generally prefer to tightly controlled classes when you're just having fun. I love it when someone shows up in an oddball car and has a blast driving it.
@Brian: I have been wanting to build an autoX track-T aswell. I think mine would have a 5speed, a turbo 4banger, and maybe AWD? I keep sizing up the wife's A4, but I think the engine/ front axle configuration would be a problem.
Side note: If you guys ever get to go to one of the Goodguy's national events, they do autocross at the event. Very 'run what ya brung' and fun to watch the mix of machines.
And this guy in a prepared Omni was awesome!
