I looked at a car I really liked at the car show/swap meet this past weekend.
But.
It had some serious A-pillar rust at the bottom. It was a deal breaker for me at the time, but I keep thinking about calling the guy and negotiating the price with that rust as my lead argument. If I can get some opinions here (!) it can help me decide if it's even worth the effort.
thanks, Stan
Cut it off and make a roadster. Add Brooklands screens if necessary.
Shouldn't be too hard to cut out and replace if you can find a donor car to cut out good metal.
We talking about a Nissan here? (Asks the guy who has removed the doors and fixed rusty spots on two Sentras in the last year)
