We were thinking about how build threads get buried in the way-back history if they're not regularly updated. That makes 'em a little hard to find sometimes, so we made a place to put them all—whether they're yours, ours, or your aunt's.
The rules:
-
Use the year, make and model of your car in the subject line.
-
Have fun!

If you'd like your thread moved there, please bump the thread and let us know. If the thread does not already comply with Rule #1, please tell us what it is so we can add it to the subject line.
Good call!!!! Lemme find the 5.4 swap thread on my Vic...
EDIT: Bumped it. 2000 P71 Crown Vic 5.4 Swap Thread titled "Ding dong the Vic is dead"
Thanks.

Can you please move my Javelin build thread, and update the title to 1973 AMC Javelin?
Also, should the 1965 Scarab Mark IV Model build and 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra Model build threads be included?
What about sold/finished cars, like my old 1986 Porsche 944 autocross build?
I just moved a few threads--thanks. We'll get more done later today and early next week. Renaming the threads takes an extra step.
Thanks for sharing all the builds, guys, and keep them coming.

My lack of building anything is now completely obvious.

If a thread gets moved to the build threads section, will the http: address remain the same? If not, will the old address redirect people to the new one? I know it's a minor detail, but there are links to my $2009 and $2011 builds all over the internet, so I figure it's worth asking before mixing things up.
I'm happy to see the build threads getting their own place!

Good Point. The new build threads section is what we should use from here on out, but for existing threads, it would be better to put a link in "build threads" that redirects to the old address. That way we don't break links all over the internet.

...and yes, I have a thread on my datsun replica
http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/my-datsun-build/18604/page1/
that I would like to have included in build threads
I just moved a thread from one forum to another, and the link seemed to follow the thread. When Alan's back from the lunch, we'll do a few more tests.
This is great news...thanks!

AWESOME!
Also, you have now made it much more difficult to be productive at work, because I can spend all day reading build threads.

The link is persistent, so you won't have to update your things on the internets. It's just an internal database tag that's changing.

Epic Build Threads - Mostly builds from other forums, but I think its a good thread for the new forum
I foresee this motivating me to take more pictures and start a build thread for the TR4. Win win, thanks.
as I posted in that forum... THANK YOU for bringing back this forum... it was one of my favs back on the old forum...
