Should I just change out the clutch and coil or should I buy a whole new compressor and clutch? Clutch is around $90 and entire compressor is around $200. Its on a F350 6.0 diesel and its not easy to get to.

Have you tried jumping power to the clutch directly to see if it engages? It could be a bad low pressure cycling switch or something causing the clutch not to get power.
Unless you've confirmed power/ground to the coil it's usually something else, relay, pressure switch/low charge, wiring problem, etc.
Jumped it out at the switch and at the relay. Neither one would cause the clutch to click and engage. My guess is the clutch coil is bad. Checked voltage at the switch, relay, and fuse as well. All good until the electrons make their journey down to the clutch coil. 11 year old compressor. Replace everything or just the clutch assembly and cross my fingers. My hands are too fat to reach up there and try and disconnect the coil or I'd test the voltage there as well.
I just fixed a clutch that had a bad splice at the compressor. Well fixed to run for the summer, I used one of those no strip splices because I couldn't get in there. I will have to remove some parts to do it properly. It might be worth your time to see what is really up.
I wouldn't do anything until you've verified everything at the clutch coil connector. Both power and ground coming from the car, and resistance across the clutch coil. Or, some cars ground the clutch coil the compressor itself, and a bad connection at that ground can cause the clutch not to engage as well.
