Long ordeal but I have to pick another LS1 swap pan for my Exocet (Miata). I had already bought the bolt on adapter for the v8 roadsters pan but it looks like the Moroso Pan from Flyin Miata does not use the bolt on adapter or have a provision for a fitting in the Oil Filter location. I do not need a oil cooler so I would like to stay with the pan mount oil filter. Looks like I can get a single port sandwich adapter from Canton but I am worried that is going to space my filter below the sub-frame. I am looking for suggestion's or alternate ways to to plumb in the Accusump. Any other oil pans that are known to work with the v8 roadsters sub-frame?

I did mine with the improved racing piece, and the tank fits GREAT behind the driver's seat (and there is no other good place to put it, really)

Sump is mounted with rollbar mount fire suppression system brackets, fit perfect.

1 Large port for the oil feed (I used -8), and two small accy ports. I have one going to a mech. oil pres gauge. It takes the place of the oil bypass so no sandwich plate needed.

We do have a remote filter version of the pan, which would let you plumb the Accusump in.

The FM/Moroso pan has excellent oil control, there's an LS3 enduro car out there that runs 275 Hoosiers and big aero and he's not had any concerns over the past two years. I've got a 7 psi warning light on my car and I've never made it flicker.

So your not having any oil starvation issues just running the Moroso pan?
