Okey doke, got one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Internal-Wastegate-Actuator-7psi-26psi/dp/B00BD9BSNU/ref=sr_1_13?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1415892248&sr=1-13&keywords=7+psi+turbo+internal+wastegate

and the problem is the damn thing doesn't open till 22 PSI, way too high. It's sold as 'adjustable' and I understand it's done via the rod but here's the deal: I need it to open at 6-7 PSI and that means the way this thing is set up to accomplish that the flap will hang open inside the manifold. That's about as Mickey Mouse as things can get, I don't want to puke a motor from a poorly adjusted wastegate or have it spool slowly due to the flap hanging open.

I'm gonna return it, in no small part because the seller is a bit of an ass about it. Anybody have a link to a truly adjustable one, either by swapping springs or external screw preload?

You could just get one from a second gen RX7. They are set right at 6 to 7 psi.
