Gold/brass/whatever-yellow-metal plating is one of my least favorite things on earth.
It's one of those applications where spending extra makes it look worse. If you're going to be ostentatious, at least look good doing it.
Harder than it sounds for some, it seems.
OP's pic looks like it has enough plumbing for a small house!
As for the blingtastic BMW - part of me wants to hate it, but can't. That there is awesome just for the sheer ridiculousness. Even better that it's driven.
I notice it, but what am I seeing there?
Edit: Oh! Cummins I-6, Triple Turbo Dragster.

I noticed it, but have no idea what it is. Inline 6 of some sort. Slant 6? Jeep 4.0? 2jz?
It looks... primitive, whatever it is.
Sorry for threadjacking, no offense meant.

I can't see the engine behind 800 yards of turbo plumbing.

Hahahahahahahah!!!!!
That's berkeleying RAD!!!
Also: What an unfortunate name.
article said: Keep in mind though, a Cummins diesel engine weighs about 900 pounds by itself. Add on the transmission and fluids and you’re looking at 1,400+ pounds just in the drivetrain. We can tell you right now the stock drivetrain would hold up to that, though there doesn’t appear to be anything “stock” about the CumStang.

BWAHAHAHAHAH Powerstroke THIS! Just like every Ford hotrod with a Chebbie mill, they went out-of-house for this one.

Not since the apology, you notice.
Errrr... unless this post.

Why'd they stick a BMW nose skin on a Beretta dragster shell?

Did C3PO get recycled into a dashboard?

Heh, I'd hope a 4rotor with a huge turbo making over 1600whp through a 5spd Lenco would do better than that.

because they could ?

because race car...
and the body lines on the back half of the car don't look like a Beretta to me. doesn't look squared off enough and doesn't have the lip on the back of the trunk that a Beretta has.
