the new front wheel bearings got rid of a ton of noise and all the steering wheel nibble, the new struts and hats got the body motion under control, and the reman halfshaft doesn't have grease slinging all over the place. i replaced the left side LCA so it would be fresh like the right side LCA that I replaced in March.

but i've still got a clunk in the front end. noticeable from very low speed up to freeway speed. rack, rack mounts, tie rods, and sway bar end links felt good, so now i'm thinking maybe the sway bar chassis mount bushings?

Or engine mounts? THose are a known weak spot in all the V6 Hondars.

It's definitely got motor mount issues. They're next on the list, but probably 2 months out due to $.

I will take this opportunity to give Honda fastener engineers some love for their coating selection. This '03 Ody has 200k and NINE Michigan winters on it, and the only difficulty I had was with removing the sway bar end link nut on the LH, and the cotter pins in both outer tie rod ends. Everything else came apart with no drama.
