There's still some speculation amongst the LapDogs that there's a drag race event to add, either after Nashville or ECR.  Plus, the possibility that the Lanier oval will get added right after Road America, "since it's right there".

Although, the length of a couple of the transits might negate the last one?

Lanier would be cool. Say hi to Mr. Downing for us. :)

In reply to docwyte :

But the longs are every other day, not back to back.

When you're out here on the left coast, just getting to the start is a long leg...LOL.

I'm looking forward to it, IF, my new roll cage gets ever built...

Alas, though this would be the perfect time to enter this...I have everything except the roll cage in the car...and this is even happening in the right part of the country...this may have to wait for my next lifetime.

Heroic fellow.  Has saved many lives and injuries by leading the way with head and neck restraints.  Bravo Jim Downing and Bob Hubbard!

Bumpty bump!  Planning on coming out to Nelson Ledges.

I had been getting call for workers e-mail from Indy Region, for some reason.  I think I rallycrossed with them once ten years ago and got on their mailing list.

As much as I would like to drive out to Nelson and hang out, my overactive civic duty gland is driving me to volunteer for anything that requires an untrained warm body.  Is there anybody I should contact, or is this all already handled?

In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :

You could easily do both.  AutoX worker for Saturday afternoon.  Competition starts at 3 pm at Grissom and the last car should roll out before 4pm.

Then, next day, gates open at 7am for track walking and track goes live at 8am.  Expect all cars to be done about 3pm.

I plan to be at Nelson Ledges

Sounds like a plan, except unlike Lap Dogs, I need to sleep on occasion smiley
