Once or twice I have seen a type of lift that picks the car up by the tires rather than the body, what is this called? Basiclly each arm had a 'fork' that when on either side of the tire, like the wheel lift on a tow truck. This seemed like a good idea to get extra height out of a Max Jack. (provided of course you are doing something that does not require wheel removal.)

I'm not at all sure, but I think this is done with attachments to your standard lift arms.
