10%, which is ~$3k.  We bought the car ~ 4 months ago, so our payoff is still pretty high, and I set the agreed value a bit higher than that.

That certainly is a lot of car for the money.  But since sports car purchases especially are rarely logical, I would consider that price difference as more of a tie breaker than deal maker.

Damn that's a great perspective. And it's why I struggle so much, if we didn't have the 3 dogs, I'd have the better have get the Miata and I'd get the Mustang.
