Hi guys, since I appreciate your opinions I was hoping you can give your thoughts on a dilemma I'm facing. For my fun car I have an '03 C5 Z06 with less than 84k miles that I think is in really good shape. It has some minor mods to improve reliability such as bigger radiator with oil cooler, accusump and transmission cooler and Recaro seat with Schroth harness. I do autocross, track cross and track night in America events with it.

I've owned it for almost 5 years so I figured it's almost time to get another fun car. I have about $15k to put on top of my C5 Z06 and I want something that can be competitive in SCCA autocross since I want to run more of their events.

Here's what I have in mind.

1. e92 M3 with stick. I think I need to keep an eye on throttle actuator and rod bearing problem. Not sure how reliable their DCT transmission is so I'll probably stick with stick for reliability and hopefully long term value.  I'm thinking about this option because I think it'll be competitive in FS class and will be somewhat easier to drive at the limit than my C5 Z06.

2. 2018 or 2019 Camaro SS 1LE or Mustang with PPL2. Its competitive in BS class but if I do this I may need to sell my DD 2016 JKU and get a cheaper DD so I don't have to finance it and keep my insurance and property taxes from going up too much. In addition, I think it'll depreciate more since it's newer.

3. Stay in Vette family and get a C6Z06 (with fixed head) or C6 GrandSport that's competitive in AS class.

What would you guys do if you were in my situation? I'll probably do this in the spring since it'll probably be easier to sell my Vette then. Thanks guys.
