This afternoon, driving home the "long" way, I passed a garage with a '74 or '75 Ford LTD 4 door sitting outside with a for sale sign in white shoe polish on the windshield. It's painted that butterscotch/caramel color, so popular on mid '70s big Fords, and has a dark brown vinyl roof. The car practically screams gas guzzler...at least compared to my Civic, and I need a truck more than a big sedan....yet I'm strangely sort of drawn to this LTD.
