So I've been getting ready to hurl my edelbroke carb into a volcano and was planning on replacing it with a Holley 650. Whilst browsing CL this afternoon I stumbled across This.

I've never heard of this brand before, but it looks like a Holley clone. That price is very good considering it includes the fuel lines. Looks like it could save me $200-300 even if I have to rebuild it.

Is this worth picking up for should I stick with the new Holley?

I've installed a few QF carbs and the phrase "razor sharp" keeps popping up with respect to throttle response.

There is magic in their metering and emulsion circuits. They provide not just the correct amount, but the fuel is also well prepared.

Disclaimer: I've only ever worked with the racing carbs. I didn't even know they made vacuum secondary carbs! And every QF carb I've seen had red anodized baseplates and metering blocks, too.

Will all Holley parts interchange? It all looks like a standard Holley from the outside, so I assume any differences are on the inside. just wondering what they are.

I know someone running a blow through one, with a single turbo. Says it's been great.

I've installed several on freshly built SBC, SBF, and BBC engines and no problems.

I have a 780 just like that one. It comes with Jet extensions in the rear, vent Extinsions up front the billit metering blocks have Multi emusion holes, mine has 3or4 can't remember now, fuel bowl clear plugs, Mine is a QF carb but also has Pro form Cast into it? That looks like a fair deal.
