You can DIY a regular MS for half that.

I like the package size of the microsquirt, but the additional cost is a drawback. When I did the Sportster, Microsquirt was still "any minute now," as it had been for the previous couple years. So, I built this, based on Megasquirt: It is stripped down to nothing not needed to run a Sportster. One injector driver, no ignition, etc. If I had the room for it, I would have just used a 3.0 board. I may do that when I do my bike, or I might go microsquirt. The inside of my fairing is really pretty dry. On the Sportster, that is under the seat, so it has to be sealed up pretty well.

Note that the cigarette package is there for size reference only, and is a collectors item, not to be construed as a smoking endorsement. And the mice ate that package of smokes last year, the bastards.

thats OK, the mice probably died of cancer.

Actually, those mice died of sudden certical dislocation and compression as I amped up the traps. I couldn't wait for the cancer to hit them. I bought that package in Sturgis in the 80's. All that was left was the butts.
