Is there any news in the world of smart phone based telemetry apps? Finally having obd2 again, I'd like to make full use of it.
I've got torque working over Bluetooth, and it's great, but I don't know if or how to export data from it.
I also recently downloaded, and haven't tried, hp tuners track addict app, which on paper looks to do everything I want and then some. Going as far as to map autocross courses and record video, through the phone, with telemetry data overlaid. Just requires a stable mount which may be hard to come up with.
I'd like to be able to overlay brake and gas inputs over the video, so I can maybe judge my driving and find areas to gain speed. Tracking the course or having a map would be awesome but not necessary. Ideally, I could export the data and put it over a go pro video.
Is there anything smart phone based, or a low cost standalone system that would be better than those two apps?
