I'm semi-interested in this, and having it be so far away is possibly a good thing, because I'm not just going to drive down and take a gander.
Seller says the electronics work and there is no rust. If somebody is in the area and feels like seeing how bad it really is, please let me know. I'm kind of hoping it's a mess beyond what's described and I can ignore it.
Maybe just say no, nobody is available. Problem solved.
Or talk me out of it- I can pick up an M Class locally and just build it myself.

Pretty sure you have to get your hipster certifications updated to own a roof top tent.
For some reason I read that as a ratty SLS AMG and I was really excited.
If you want a tent like that, it is a $1300 tent!
Now thinking a Jeep Liberty would make a better starting point.

Yep. They're cheap, common in junkyards and pretty much unloved and disposable.
