A childhood friend has a son running in the shootout this year. Each year I tune it to watch the Chili Bowl (nearly went out there this year before deciding to attend the Rolex 24 instead).
Nearly 1800 competitors this year! The talent that some of these kids display is really impressive!
The way society goes these days, the title made me assume it was about an active shooter on a news feed.

The Tulsa Shootout is definitely a hidden gem. The Chili Bowl gets the attention, but the Tulsa Shootout is gaining steam, too. Not just kids, either. Many great racers of all ages.
