As in Kentucky. I just moved here and the scene is looking a little weak. Especially considering the street rod nats have been here for years. I never did meet any of the local GRMers when in Knoxville, and I don't want to make the same mistake twice!

I'm here in Louisville.

There are a few more GRMers in Louisville.

SCCA Auto-x is the KYR region. Papa John's Stadium, UPS parking lot and Ft. Knox are the venues.

Ohio Valley Dragway is the 1/8 mile track.

I can give you some links to the local web sites if you haven't found them already.

I live in Columbus, Ohio at present but I was born and raised in Louisville. The "scene" is more happening than you think, but you gotta know where to look.

The autocross is a good place to start. Dave Melton (many time Challenge participant) lives in the area and if I'm not mistaken still attends some of the races.

If you want a good local car forum, I point you to 502streetscene.net. Don't be scared off by some of the shiny happy people on the board though, there are some good people there too.

Enjoy Louisville! It's a great city. I wish I were back there.
