Anybody want dibs on a 1942 GPW in California.

Alright going to David Tracy in a few weeks. I will leave the photo's and the links up so everyone can try and guess what this monster is.

David is on his way up. Hopefully we can get it on the trailer and then it will be out of my hair. 

I read the Autopian article on this little adventure. It sounds like you guys had your hands full loading it. It's nice to see the GRM forums mentioned on a major auto media site!

Yeah he brought the wrong trailer. Worst of all is I was up his way with the right trailer about three days before he got back to pickup the new knucklehead and could have dropped it off. 

I really wanted to get the motor running for him and maybe roadkill it back but because of the road conditions and the rain that would not have been advisable. 

Maybe now would be a good time to edit that post since it is officially gone?

Especially if we are going to get an influx of readers from the autopian.

Ha, saw the post on the Autopian site come across my feed, but didn't have a chance to read it. Immediately thought, how the hell did David Tracy pull that off for $85? Apparently, the answer is the GRM Forums, because of course it is.

Also, welcome David! Stick around for a while, this place is great!

Oh, yeah. I posted on the thread about the change and went on to forget about it. It is a recent thing, with valid thinking behind it but implementation could be improved.
