Wondering if anyone here has ownership experience?

I know that Consumer Reports rated them as the least reliable vehicle. Not sure of their specifics for that rating.

Contemplating changing trucks from my current F150 3.5 Ecoboost, and one of these popped up. They do seem to sell for a discount vs normal 3.5 EB's - there's probably a reason for that!

So, not sure anyone is interested, but I found some details that make this not a good choice for me.

The reason I was interested was the 7.2kw generator option, plus they seem easier to find without the problematic pano sunroof, and they seem to trade for about 10% less than similar Ecoboost trucks - I guess due to reputation for reliability issues. Any mpg improvement would be gravy.

But:

1. The fuel tank is only 30 gal vs 36 gal for a 3.5 EB. When towing my trailer (and getting 7.5-8mpg) that puts me likely to need a fuel stop to get to a couple of my normal tracks. Not the end of the world, but annoying.

2. The weight of the hybrid bits and large inverter steals a good bit of payload capacity. Loaded up Powerboosts can have just a bit better than 1200lb payload. Oddly, the Max Tow package reduces the payload.
