So one of the vehicles I'm considering as a donor for the electric conversion of the DMC is the Volkswagen iD.4- but unfortunately that I can find nobody has used its drivetrain for an electric conversion before since they're pretty new to the market, and there isn't ready information on the dimensions of the rear motor/gearbox/inverter assembly I'd be wanting to put in the back of the DMC. Does anyone here own one and could take some general measurements of the rear drive unit so I could see if it would fit well into the engine cradle area? Thanks!
