There is a white copy of the title that is given by the state, but its not the real title. I have a couple of those. You can request the real blueish title on the dmv website.
If you are buying a car, I would ask the seller to get the real title. It takes a week to get it and its not really expensive.
We are selling her car. She opted for the electronic title when she paid it off. I've dealt with it in the past buying and selling cars in florida. It's simple you go into the DMV with the purchaser and they transfer it right there. We have requested the paper version, but seeing if anyone has had any experience doing this. It's a Florida tagged and titled car we are selling in Virginia.
