I got a Cox 1/32nd scale set when I was about 8 years old. Had the Bob Sharp Datsun and the Peter Gregg Porsche. Pancake sidewinder motors with articulated pan chassis, they worked pretty well. Wish I still had that set, although I bet those lexan bodies would have quite a shade of yellow to them now.
I need those.
Not the track, just the cars.
But I have to admit that the gray guardrail looks better than orange or yellow.

I can wait - how will I know when can ship?
If you can afford 2, buy 2. I have a feeling these might be valuable some day. Remember the berserk prices of BRE Hotwheels a few years ago?

I have to spend $35K a year to become a distributor. I don't think I can raise the $33,500 extra I need to do that.
In reply to Javelin :
I am in charge of setting up my hose distributors in my territory. We don't require a dollar amount but I'm only setting you up if I see potential.
What happens if you miss the $35,000 - they cut you off?

I'm not sure. I'm seeing if I can start smaller with them and gave them all of my information.
Heads up! The BRE sets are out and they are selling out FAST. This will likely be worth over $500 in a year.
RC Superstore has them for $130 - https://www.rcsuperstore.com/auto-world-bre-datsun-champions-16-ho-slot-car-set/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA67CrBhC1ARIsACKAa8TP1nhBDcNKZWz5QUsDxQzCnOSr_oRYtjcD2bJKTtg-y1SRHoroqHgaAkb5EALw_wcB

The Car Culture Vintage Racing one sells for $250-$300 on eBay to this day.
Looking through the windshield and hatch of the Z, it appears the chassis is a clone of the Aurora AFX, with the horizontal armature and overhead gear drive plate. I still have quite a few of those from when I started collecting them back in the early '70's. And bodies, and track, and controllers, and transfomers, and ...
Wonder if I can convince the wife I "need" to convert one of the spare bedrooms into a slot car track room? You know, for the grandkids.

Those original Aurora AFX are quite good (and some are super $$$$). AutoWorld makes modern versions of them (Ultra-G) and the older Thunderjets. AW has some nice stuff out.

I don't have the OG 510, but I do have the OG 240.
