Aussies have had these ads since 1989, they have a delicate way of getting their message across.
I thought I would load one up now and then as a gentle reminder for my fellow car guys and gals.

You could tell he was drunk as soon as the truck was driving. He was on the wrong side of the truck AND the wrong side of the road.
We need PSAs like that here.
This NZ anti speeding ad is easily one of the post powerful I've so far.
Powerful
I have seen some of these before but thanks for posting. It's a cold reality check we all need from time to time.

NZ needs these.
I was there a few years ago. Driving through some remote area in the far-north of the north island in a 2-door rental Yaris (with a 5-speed of course!). I was hauling along at a pretty good rate through some twisty bits and a loaded up Toyota caravan come barreling up behind me. I was pushing the Yaris pretty good and this guy was on my bumper really quickly. I pulled onto the shoulder and he zoomed past. Was out of sight in a minute or less. I still remember wondering how that thing could have been capable of those speeds...
Caravan looked something like this:

Wow, those are powerful.
Back in my drinking days my buddy had a 12" lifted 3/4 ton Chevrolet with 38" Ground Hawgs and started to pretend (and laugh) that he was slipping on an icy/snowy rural road and then proceeded to really lose control and was sliding from side to side and almost hit head on another car.
Where were we? We had just left a 2 hour "all you can drink" bar and was headed over to have more drinks. I was stupid in my 20's.
This looks like normal riding around here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRpNirJfuzs
if Australia were not Bob Costas who banned games and movies and wider tires on cars this would make me think they are a non nonsense man's country.

I do know that Australia has weight/displacement ratio limits for engine swaps. V8 Miatas aren't legal there, the engines are too big. And everyone is scared to go 1 kmh over the limit. The land of the V8 Interceptor isn't what it was.
