Its based out of NH, belongs to a guy named Butch. He's built most of the suspension himself with a mix of pre-made circle track stuff and bits he's designed and fabbed himself. Its 2wd, runs a 406 cid chevy small block, its a 4spd (at least it was last time I checked, its been a few years since I talked to him about the trans), it runs wide fives on the front, and the wheels(all four) have to be in the nieghborhood of 15X12. He uses it for hillclimb, track days and the occasional auto-X. He is a real nice gut that looks to be right out the NH north country backwoods. I wouldn't be surprised if he knows how to make 'shine

I had a Bronco II - 5spd - I don't think I'd want another. Not much to recommend it. I'd rather another Cherokee over a Bronco II.

Furthermore the rear is a Quickchange, his wife is a medic who cornerworks, and he shows up with a pristinly clean 18 wheeler.

I'll see what I can do. I haven't been to a SCCNH (his "home" club) event in a while, but I'll check the schedule. I'm only 25 mins away from their auto-X site.

If you want PM your E-mail addy/phone number and I can pass it on to him Dave.

I've seen that Blazer in person as well at Reading events. It's really a "Blazer" in appearance only... under the sheet metal - about as far from a Blazer as you can imagine...

I checked the schedule, and if Butch doesn't attend the SCCV auto-X @ Stowe, VT this Sunday it looks like July is the next time he might surface.I know he roams down to PA for hillclimbs, maybe further, but I don't know where to look for those schedules.
