Autocross/Solo Video Thread

Didn't see one of these - so I guess I'll start one.

Here's video of my 4 runs last weekend at the Chesapeake PCA Autocross Event #5. You get to hear some of the questions/commentary I get when driving the 944/LSX. Last run was in the rain - so you also get to see the handling capabilities of the car on wet pavement (dispelling the myth that putting an LSX into the 944, you destroy the balance). Event announcer is Manny Alban, PCA President.

The camera is a Contour HD, my first weekend out with it. Still looking for the best mounting positions!

Video from 9 September PCA AX event. After adjusting front camber to deal with maneuverabilty issues, I ended up making another problem. Fortunately I had the HP numbers to muscle through the unwanted side effects.

Here's my best run from the Nashville tour last year. The last few seconds of the run (and after the finish) were the busiest I've ever been in a car. The car is a 99 Z28.

This is from yesterday,held in Barrie Ontario Canada. Event FTD but the car had a mechanical failure during this run and retired for the day,otherwise great day.

Beefed up the front springs to 300#. Car seems a lot flatter - 350# may be the magic number.

Video of my fastest runs at the WCDR SCCA Chamionship Solo Events #3 and #4. Ran E Modified on Saturday but was once again the only participant in the class. Moved up to X Prepared (Cobra Class) on Sunday and did pretty well - think I need to get out of these drag radials!

2012 Hot Rod Power Tour Autocross Muskegon 6/3/2012 Not the fastest time of the day, but over half a second faster than any of the Power Tour participants.

Furrin Group Test & Tune at Cruising Muskegon 6/1/2012 Second fastest time of the evening despite the XS'es dislike of rain.

South Bend Region SCCA at Lake Michigan College 6/24/2012 Second in DS by 0.050 seconds.

I am going back to V710s this weekend.
