Same here. I could see owning a VehiCross. The only real weak point of those was the window regulators, it was pretty obviously a hurried up design there.
I had a friend in college who owned an Aztek. He thought it was the greatest car ever. Interesting Camo interior.
yeah i was thinking I must be an automotive oddball myself because there are a few on that list that i think are pretty cool.

Me too..............and I think it also came with the 2.5 Turbo motor as an option. I could be all over that.

+1
But then I kind of have a thing for wagons.

+1 A bigger, beefier hardtop Amigo (and I loved my Amigo)
Swap the manual trans in and have a blast...

I was sad to to see the Roadmaster there also.
A classic estate if there ever was one
The Baja and Vehicross are decent vehicles...also while Azteks look like some sort of graphical glitch, the people who own them always love them.

I must live in VehiCROSS central - there are at least 3, and possibly 4, of them still driving around my town. One silver, one yellow, and one (or possibly two) black.
And the X90 wins my coveted Award For Most Pointless Vehicle Of All Time Award: take 3 or 4 different automotive genres, combine the worst aspects of all 4 and none of the good aspects, and then ask too much money for it. A dealer in town was selling those things for 50% off sticker 2 years later and still couldn't unload them.
There's one VehiCROSS going around near my office somewhere...I see it when I go out for lunch. I'm pretty sure it's the only one on the island.
X90s (AKA SX4s) are so slow I think my Samurai could beat one in a drag.
The 2 local Red Bull cars are X90's. They stuck a big ol' fake Red Bull can on top, painted them silver and they toss the keys to busty young babes to drive around and hand out free cans of the stuff.
I drove a roadmaster once, it really does feel like driving a water bed. lol Not really my mind of car. The nitro is the only one from that list I would refuse to drive though.
I like the vehicross, roadmaster, and baja out of that bunch, I could easily see owning those if a good deal came along. Others are neat, but I probably wouldn't own one. I could think of a lot more odd vehicles than these, and a lot less successful vehicles as well. The person writing this article was obviously just trying to make words about cars, the writer is clearly pretty uninformed (or biased?). For example, the baja isn't underpowered if you get it with the turbo. They live in Brooklyn, I wonder if they even own a car.

I saw an X90 a few weeks ago and had no idea what it was. When were those being sold new? I honestly don't remember them. I think they look sort of cool, and wouldn't mind having one if I could get it at a grassroots price.
