David took a trip to Atlanta and stopped by the High Museum to walk through their "Dream Cars" display. Follow the link to browse through pictures of the awesome beautiful display cars and learn why they were important. If you are around Atlanta, you should go check it out.
Awesome Concept Cars on Display in Atlanta Art Museum
I took my dad to that exhibit for Father's day. Amazing stuff. Harley Earl's work is amazing in person. They also have the Porsche 918 Hybrid and the cloth-bodied BMW roadster concept from a couple years ago. Also some 70's pinnafarina wedge designs that were on my bedroom wall.
Last year they had an exhibit called "the art of the automobile" or similar that featured notable cars from the thirties to the sixties, including some concept cars. One of the benefits of being a member is that there was a member-only event where you could stand around and watch them all be driven off the transports into the museum. Shame I wasn't a member then.
$20 pp just to look at 17 cars?

Welcome to Atlanta. Admission to most family-type attractions here is ridiculously expensive.

That Voisin is pure beauty.... I'd argue better looking than the Atlantic also featured.

I was kind of shocked by that number, too. But when else are you going to be able to drool over all those cars at once?
