What do I need to know about the basic B15 Sentra? Any trouble spots to look for? I know the QR25/SE-R cars had problems with intake butterfly screws and some oil consumption problems, but I am not too familiar with with 1.8L variety.
A friend of mine is looking for some basic transportation and an 06' Sentra is one of the better options we have found in terms of price, age, and mileage. Its an automatic, 1.8S with 56k.
Slow compared to an SR20 equipped car, but basically the same car as the rest of the Sentras.I wonder if they made the A pillar rust issue better or worse with this vintage? B13s are bad, 14's are horrible, but most of the rest of the cars stay reasonably clean.
Check for sludge. Only issues I've seen are lack of care. And some normal nissan sensor issues.
