In a box marked "TREASURE" I got my back issue super deal today. At first I thought I might be disappointed as I already had the first 3 issues in the box, but, oh man, the issues just got better and better. Those 3 will go to a buddy, but the others, I can't wait to read. BTW, GRM didn't make a killing on this deal. It cost me $20 for 20 issues and the postage was $11.30. It really was a deal.

Thanks.

The issues I got were:

Thanks to the kindness of Jeff, aka Protege2886, I am getting a box, too. I am hoping for a January 1997 - that's the year my son, the uber-car nut, was born. I think that would be a cool gift.

Wish they could've done it to Canada, but the postage is so expensive I'm not terribly surprised.

I wonder how long the back issue supply will last? I do intend to make a tire and parts run across the border next month...

Thanks to aussiesmg at a meet last year I'm still working my way through a HUGE stack of back issues, GRM and CMS as well. Oldest I've seen so far is 12/2007. I'd be curious to see some of those 90's issues.

I saw a pic of Dave Wallens in a 95 issue were he looks like Ben Stiller in a fire suit.

Added this to my cart last week then thought I probably will never read them and the 20 bucks will better be spent on lunch. Then I read some of the titles you got and well.. I ordered the box.

Hoping I get some interesting ones!

By the way, I just signed some random issues. Not sure if that helps or hurts things.

Mine came in Saturday. It was a heavy box. The mix was 4 duplicates in the box( 2 copies of the same issue twice), 3 more recent ones I already had, And the rest was Pure gold. So 7 eh, and 13 gold. Very happy with my random box of treasure. Oh, and the issue on top was a Challenge issue with my Fiero in it.

Did you sign your name, or somebody famous?
