Personally, I find this guy to be extremely annoying but I've coveted a 6 series for decades so I had to click on the video when I saw it. My impression is that he appears to have purchased a real money pit based on the second video in the series. I'm posting this because I thought there might be some other members of the Hive who might be interested. I have a feeling this is going to turn into an assessment that the restoration cost just can't be justified.
Guy is definitely not my speed but I appreciate his enthusiasm I guess.
Didn't fully watch the videos but skimmed by clicking around. Knew it was going to be a rotbox almost immediately after seeing that hole in the sunroof and the second video confirms that as he just goes around punching holes in the main rails.
As someone who was intimately involved with E28-chassis cars for about a decade, that's a parts car...no way to restore that without being underwater. Not sure why they're trying given that it's just a typical Euro-spec slushbox car and not a M6 or M635.
It's a Euro car but a very late one stuck with the ugly world bumpers and the worst colour. Pull the motor and put it in something cooler (an E28!) and push the rest back in the barn lol.
