battery proximity to fuel cell?

What are the hive thoughts on having the fuel cell and battery in close proximity to each other? Just make a battery box and call it a day? Or generally a bad idea?

Battery box and call it a day. Has been done in race cars forever.

Don't do it without the battery box.

I had a battery explode last year- it's not pretty at all.

+1 a battery box is plenty enough protection for the fuel cell...or just enough for the driver.

I'd be ok with an AGM next to a fuel cell. Class rules might not be though. I'm not a lawyer.
