So, my car sat a couple days; when I came out it wouldn't start. Battery was about 6.8v. Ok, I jump it and pull it in the garage and shut it off. For kicks I check the battery again. And it's 11.9v.
Should it "charge " that quickly off the alternator or is something else going on here?
It may have 12 unloaded which is not fully charged. Turn on the lights and recheck. I bet it drops quickly. Something is still going on as it should not drop to 7 in a couple days unless you left something on.
