So I was thinking about keeping the 16x7s and putting a decent tire on them for a street setup, looks like the closest I can do is a really short 245/50 or a probably too wide for the wheel 255/50. If I do anything with these it looks like I'll be putting a normal truck tire on them for winter.
I'm not familiar with that particular engine bay, but I doubt you have room for any significant engine setback without hacking the firewall or moving the cab back.
Yeah to move the engine back I'd definitely have to cut out the firewall, but I figured in crazy land where I'm dropping the cab, I'd have to cut some of it out anyway.
