I've never found a good way to search this board.
And, why do my post always come up double spaced?
A lot of good effort has been put into the search function of this board. At the very top of the page you will find a magnifying glass icon. Click that and at the very top of the page it will open a search window.
Yes. Strange quirk of this board; there is no single space function. There is a bullet point function that can be helpful. To get to that:
- At the top of the dialog box (where you type), there are many icons.
- The first icon is a B for bold and an I for Italics.
- The 12th icon is for bullet points
Aside from that, I don't know anything about Bend Tech

Shift+Enter gets you a single space. At least if you are using a physical keyboard.
Replace "bend tech pro" with any other topic you want to search for.

I've looked at bend tech in the past but never bought it.
I have pretty good cad experience and can use that when necessary. We have a bender and we use it, but generally on simple stuff.
The thing that helped me the most is more analog... but as a tutorial and understanding how your bender works it's great. IIRC you have to do some of these steps anyway for bendtech to be any use:

I have Bend Tech SE and Pro. I used it to layout the chassis of my Porsche 906 and later for a Porsche 910. I haven't used it in several years. I thought manipulation of curved sections was very lacking. Maybe they've improved this function.
A basic pic like this or something with dims? I don't recall how I exported this image of the 906 chassis, but there is a function to do it or there is in Pro 5.02.01. What version is current now?

From my recollection you export to an .stl file and use one of the free viewers to rotate etc then save as a jpg. I upgraded to Pro because the lesser versions didn't have an export feature and I wanted to 3D print the above in 1:10 scale. Of course, if you just want a jpg to show progress to a client, you could do print screen. If that won't work and you don't have the ability to export, I can give it a shot if you email the file to me (assuming 5.X can open a 7.X file). Seems like it's a .btx or .btax file extension or something.
