Thanks for the tips. It's my daily driver so I had to get it replaced right away. I stopped by NAPA and picked up their house brand. I had to beg them for a wrench and go pull my battery for a core before they would finish the sale. at least it starts well again

You don't need the receipt for autozone, thank goodness or I would have been screwed on my last one. They can look it up in your past sales. Its easier if you assigned it to a car, but not a requirement. I buy a lot of parts from them, had no idea what car I put it under, and they still found the sale in under a minute.

I always think about doing that, but never do, plus its just one more thing to keep up with. With autozone they keep up with it for you, like Amazon, which just works best for me.

Funny thing. I just bought a battery today from Sam's Club. Physically larger than the one I bought at Advance. Hardly cheap at nearly $100. with tax. Mfd. by East Penn, Made in U.S.A.! I'll be sure to revive this thread as a zombie if it fails within the three year free replacement warranty!
