I'm with you on this one. If I see someone doing silly E36 M3 like that I head the other way fast. I've seen people get burnouts wrong and go over medians and curbs etc.. They were lucky, if there had been people there ambulances would have been needed, and possibly white sheets.

What is it with you Aussie's? Is the car itself just a conduit between an outrageous engine and the smoke generators?
Burnout contests are very very big downunder, cars like the HQ sedan and Myers Mustang are professionals.
It is a huge event, beer, bimbos, blown V8s and brawls.
Summernats is a bucket list item for any car guy, you just don't know it yet
There is a multitude of other driving and fun events

In this case, strobes are the answer.

Every time I see that I cringe and pray the driver is luckier than Troy Critchley.

I'll see your bug burnout and raise you a burnout in a stock 88 Yugo GV, at the Woodward dream cruise, with a crowd of people in Berkley chanting YUGO, YUGO, YUGO.

That was sad for multiple reasons. It basically killed off a charity.

I couldn't stop chuckling like an idiot after the first 10 seconds of that. That was awesome.
I get the sense that the aussies are plumb full of loonie.... That's not the first flaming burnout i've seen.
