That's probably the world's best looking example of a 1987 Chevy Cavalier Z24.
I bought one new...and it was pure garbage.
A lot of my favorites have already made it in here. The keys for me seem to be minimal wraparound, some depth to the design, and on the smaller side. For example, the modern Volvo that already made an appearance in this thread:

always been a fan of the Saab 9-3 Sport combi's taillights. They whole car looks fast sitting still.
Also a big fan of the Fiat Doblo/ Chrysler ProMaster City's taillight treatment.

I honestly didn't think anyone would post up any generation Miata. Let's face it, miata have bland taillights.
