I am shopping for a small compressor (15 gallon, or so) and there is quite a selection to choose from, I tend to buy larger units so this is out of my normal range. Any brand I should look at and any I should stay away from?
Thanks Paul B

I bought one of these belt driven dual voltage compressors a few yeas ago. It is plenty for my needs. Noise is minimal. I did have to buy a high quality extension cord to run it on 110.
The compressor will be used for tire inflation, random air tool (limited, nail gun, and for blow gun use. I have a much larger (dual head, 60 gallon) unit that is the main work horse but is almost 700' away.I just want something for small quick jobs in the house.

Aren't you a Pennsylvanian? My 4 gallon oil cooled has been replaced with a 30 gallon, so it's just sitting here if you want something really small.
It gets 4 of 5 lug nuts off the p71 before it needs to fill up again, but it is surprisingly handy for nail gun work.
I recently replaced my ancient 20 Gallon Speedaire that sprung a pin hole leak in the tank with this.
Porter Cable 20 Gallon Portable Belt Drive Air Compressor
I've been pleased with it so far.
Any thoughts on this compressor? I know it's not quiet. Looking for something to run cut off wheels and maybe an angle grinder.

I did the oil free compressor thing for a while before I knew any better. They really are just as terrible as all the imaginary internet people claim, more or less disposable, noisy, junk. Once you get an oiled compressor of sufficient volume, you'll question the sanity of anyone insisting they get an oil free compressor for anything that really uses air, i.e. that cut off wheel and angle grinder you mention.
