Two of the arguments that have a million answers. Or why the "answer" may not be the answer.

I just take the easy route when I don't want to shop around for oil and get Mobil-1 synthetic oil and M1 filters when they're on sale at Advance. I have also used Rotella in the diesel, but it doesn't like it as well. (purely subjective)

For what?

I wouldn't want a Peterbilt for off-roading and I wouldn't want Mobil One on my salad.

I prefer handmade oil juiced from free-range dinosaurs. Sure it's more expensive, but the money stays local and it tastes better, in my opinion.

This is the way I'm going for oil these days. Top-notch stuff and it's not too expensive.

(Edit: Of course this is for cars that see racing use. For street use or break-in I just run Valvoline, since Castrol is now so black when new that it's impossible to tell how old it is.)

I prefer Tea Tree oil for overall wellness. A couple drops in a humidifier is great for a good night's rest. Pretty good for removing carbon deposits in the crankcase too.

When I've got carbon deposits in my crankcase my go to is to eat more fiber.

Metamucil, taken as directed, will change your life.

(Funny topic, totally serious answer, it WILL change your life I promise. Buy Walmart's Equate version sugar-free. You'll never be the same!)

You live in a warm climate so maybe redline is ok.....I'll never use the stuff in my engines after trying to pour 5w30 into the ice racer.Had to squeeze it out of the bottle like corn syrup.
