Just a heads up, BFG is doing a $150 rebate for sets of 4 tires purchased today and tomorrow. I just ordered a set of BFG Comp-2's from Simpletire for my Mazda3. This has been my go-to summer tire for a long time... i was thinking of switching to the Conti ECS this go around, but BFG reeled me in again with the sale!

I've been putting off buying some much needed tires for a couple of weeks now, hoping for somebody (mostly Firestone for the Indy 500's) to put out a rebate. It looks like I'm going to be getting some Sport Comp-2's now instead...Once again, procrastination pays off.
I was planning on getting Conti DWS for my 128i in the spring, but I think this may push me into the Comp-2 A/S instead. The rebate brings them down to ~$100/ea to my door.
Today, I just bought a set of 255/45ZR17 Comp 2 for my 1995 Cobra.... I saw an ad last week. $150 rebate!

Does this work for rivals?
For those of us who are Costco members, Costco has a rebate on Michelins and BF Goodrich tires until the end of the month IIRC. That's how I ended up with a set of Sport Comp 2 summers for the 911 for under 500 bucks.
Unfortunately Costco doesn't seem to be able to sell you Rivals though 
Just ordered a set for my 128i, and my GF got a set for her Mazda 3. Going to pick them up at the CT warehouse for additional savings.

Mine too. Probably 5/32 left on the old fronts, rears down to the bars and beyond. Such is life.

I would be doing the same, but finding two rear Style 207s (17x7.5) is not all that easy.

It did. Rival S 1.5, 225/45-15, times 4, $508.16 after the rebate.
I'm glad I have an ES Miata.
Timing wasn't great financially, but I just flipped my RE-71s last week, and I was already going to be buying a set of rivals before the hot weather set in.
