The more this progresses the more I believe I'm witnessing a $250k (minimum) bespoke Austin Mini.....
For all the amazing stuff, my favorite point was when I was wondering how they were cutting aluminum with a disc in the grinder without it gumming up, and two minutes later, they note that running the disc in soap first enables that trick.
I also really, really liked this:
I love every spot they've not just made something amazing, but made it better to work on.
I had a horrible thought while watching EP21. After all this work and fab, when they finally get it on the road and some part has a stress not forseen and suddenly something goes Cronk, SPING, ChuDDDA-CHuDDDA and he hits a wall or something.

I can tell you for certain that they will have a lot of issues with their exhaust system. I have seen stainless exhaust systems grow 20-30mm longer than cold on similarly powered engines. Clearance is going to be an issue in the back given how tightly they packaged everything.
I was having a bit of a mental breakdown with the problems we were having with a certain full-on Build that we did a while back. Da Boss, trying to console me, told me that one of his friends (who did this sort of thing on a regular basis) said that you could expect to have to debug a build for about a year, and I should look on the BRIGHT side: the brakes worked, the drivetrain had no massive vibration issues, the ergonomics were sound, etc.
In reply to Knurled. :
That would be a year of driving your way past the issues and not balking at doing whatever is required to make it right.
A lot of project hit the wall at this point and get sold on after they sit for a while and get the good bits cannibalized.
