How about 10 bucks off on a 2 year and a free T shirt? $25 for 2 years and a shirt. I'd go for that.

In reply to Dr. Hess:
Maybe I'll run that by the circulation department for next year's Black Friday deal, but $10 for one year is the deal this time around. It's our most popular promotion of the year.

i did the 10 year deal in 2007. it's nice not having to renew annually.
Sold.
But then at checkout I got this:
You have ordered 8 issues for a total charge of $19.99 by MasterCard. Tax (if applicable):$0
I typed the promo code in. Doing so didn't change the price options but I took a leap of faith that it would be reflected after submission. Deal not in effect or inaccurate website...?
Hmm, we will look into that in the morning. Would you please email me your order info (name/addy) so I can check up? Thanks!
Margie
I mentioned this in the magazine feedback thread, but I'll say it here too. It'd be nice if I could get the deal of the month on digital subscriptions.
I am all about this deal, but I just don't need the paper taking up space. I may just do it anyway.
Now, just so happens that I need a renewal in about SIX MONTHS or so. They way I see it, I'll be getting more letters in the mail at a cost of a buck each, where as if I just had the opportunity of buying 2 years at $25 with a T-shirt, I'd be all over that and SAVE TEH MAG all those postage paid mailings, plus the buck for the business reply envelope...

Mike: We're looking into a digital Black Friday deal--will let you know.
Hess: Are you sure they don't call you The Pain in the Ass? (I say it with love, naturally.)

I just got my "last issue" notification, but my shirt from the last 2 year subscription I did, has welding spatter holes in it and grease stains.
I think the good Dr.'s idea sounds great.
You guys are killing me with your constant wanting to buy our magazines ;)
Okay, we can't get these different offers implemented for this early Black Friday deal, but we will look into half-price digital and a $25 2-year with t-shirt for "true" Black Friday--which at this point begins, of course, at midnight on Wednesday the 25th. We'll make an announcement when that's ready to go.
Thanks!
Margie
I wish Black Friday somehow incorporated a Black Tshirt... says the guy with two white shirts and white long sleeve now.
Still $10 for another year, I'll check my expiration. (Just got the new issue yesterday too)

Can that coupon code be BLACKER? Or MOREBLACK?

or perhaps slightly darker black....
Not with the code currently, but check back later in the week and we'll have an offer that will work for you.
I am trying to do the 2 year deal (with a T-shirt). The lead-in page says $17.99, but the page where you enter your card says $35.99. Does it adjust after I push "subscribe"?
You'll need to log in to post.
