But I've noticed that depends on the area.
That's a killer deal for a 2.8 aluminum compared to my area. LoL

Now they're getting rarer and higher miles.I bought an S52 for $1600 with 138k on it back to drop in my race car in the spring. A friend just got one for $1000 that needs a head gasket (and some freshening) to use for next season in his car. They are out there.
Not that cheap where I am. I'm also only looking for less than 100,000 mile engines. Not that familiar with them and parts seem to be pricey.
I want to keep the Z3 valve cover because it's pretty and composite, but the PCV system is a bit different between OBD1 and OBD2. Any recommendations to switching it to use the M50 PCV system?
Just ordered Turner's OBD1 conversion water temp splitter adapter. One less problem. Still thinking about what to do about the PCV system.
Are the heads the same? I was under the impression (though I cant remember where from) that the early heads are better (though maybe just a smaller combustion chamber volume for increased compression or something).
Since you have both I guess it might still be worth checking.
I've been ordered to replace the auxiliary A/C fan with something more robust. I need a good pusher fan that can hook to the thermostat switch and fit in place of the stock A/C fan. Without the condenser in place :).
