I bought the wiring plugs from these folks but the car hasn't moved out of paint and body yet so I have not actually finished the job
No experience personally but I've been watching a thread on an e30 forum that's got a little bit of info. Looks like an absolutely amazing option.
From what I've read - and I'll def check out that E30 thread - it seems like a no brainer. Figuring out where/how to mount is the biggest obstacle, but when isn't that a factor in swaps.
