My 323 GTX is leaking brake fluid, it appears to be coming from the gaskets/grommets where the reservoir attaches. The brakes still work (for now). Are there a few standard sizes of grommets that I could try to replace them? Is there any source that lists dimensions that I could take out the old ones and measure them to find a replacement? I can buy a replacement master for $65 but if I can spend a few bucks now to keep it from leaking more that would be preferable.

IDK about standard grommet sizes but if you get one that isn't specifically from a brake master cylinder assembly, it must must must be EPDM rubber, or the brake fluid will eat it in short order.

I don't see a reservoir or those grommets as a separate part through any of my vendors. They don't even come with the master cylinder rebuild kit.

That is kinda what I figured. I have found some like these but nothing lists dimensions. I should probably just buy the master cylinder since there are only 3 in stock on rockauto and I may need it anyway.

It's probably the same as RX-7 since Mazda re-uses designs until the heat death of the universe, and I have some RX-7 master cylinders that I tell myself I will rebuild someday and it would benefit me to give them to you so you can take the grommets and throw away the rest.

Hell, you can probably go to the blue hunk of Mazda out in your backyard and the parts will probably work... I think the front calipers on that are actually the same as on the 'GTX as well as Escorts up to 2002.

I doubt the grommets on that are much better than what I have.

I checked the mazda motorsports catalog to find a part number. I didn't previously search there because I forgot my login but remembered I had it saved on this computer. I found the part number for just the grommet. I can't buy it through them since they won't accept my race results but they are available.
